The Standing Committees of the Village of Hoffman Estates meet regularly each month. The members of the Board of Trustees sit on these statutory committees. The purpose of these committees is to recommend policy decisions to the Village Board as a whole.

The following Standing Committees meet on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall Council Chambers, unless otherwise noted:

  • General Administration and Personnel
  • Planning, Building and Zoning
  • Transportation and Road Improvement

The following Standing Committees meet on the fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall Council Chambers, unless otherwise noted:

  • Finance
  • Public Health and Safety
  • Public Works and Utilities

Standing Committee Meetings

  • Location: Meeting will be held via telephonic attendance

This meeting is being held via telephone and can be viewed on HETV Channel 6 (Comcast)/Channel 99 (AT&T UVerse). Village Hall will not be open to the public due to COVID-19 restrictions. Public comments and any responses will be read into the public meeting record. You may submit public comments via email in advance of the meeting to Village Manager Jim Norris at jim.norris@hoffmanestates.org. All comments must be received before 5 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020.
