The Village of Hoffman Estates awarded a commercial franchise for recycling and solid waste hauling services to Groot Industries, Inc., in 2015. The contract was renewed for the contract period 2020-2025. View the commercial franchise agreement here. Any questions can be directed to Groot.

 

Application for Exemption
The Hoffman Estates Municipal Code (section 7-9-1 H.6) provides for an exemption from the commercial franchise under specific conditions. An application for exemption can be requested by contacting the Village Manager's office via email, or by calling 847-781-2600.
