WELCOME TO THE BUSINESS LICENSING INFORMATION PAGE

Business/General Premise License Categories:

Applicants for Business or General Premise licenses are responsible for downloading and reviewing the Commercial Waste & Recycling Information and the False Alarm Ordinance.

Business: restaurants, hotels, retail sales/service, storefront businessesBusiness Licenses
General Premise: office space including shared suites; fees are based on square footage

Business/General Premise License payments for existing businesses may be made online using the Village's eGov website.

Additional License Categories:

Contractors: for information on contractor licenses, please contact Code Enforcement at 847-781-2631.

Home Based Businesses: please click here to review our Municipal Code 8-11-4 to determine if your home business is allowed. If applicable, click here to download the application for Home Based Businesses. The fee is $25.00 per year.

Raffle: for all raffles conducted in the Village (nonprofit organizations only). Click here to download the raffle application and Municipal Code regarding raffles (aka "lotteries"). Raffle license fee is $1.
