In June 2024, the Village eliminated the requirement to obtain a license for dogs and cats.  Records for currently licensed animals will be retained through the expiration date of October 31, 2024, however, no new license will be needed.  

All other rules pertaining to dogs and cats remain in effect, including the maximum limit of five (5) combined dogs and cats in any one household.  For additional domesticated and wild animal regulations, please visit the Village Animal Control webpage at: https://www.hoffmanestates.org/government/police/animal-control
