Dedicated to Projects that Conserve Energy

Saving energy is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to become more environmentally friendly.  The Village continues to reduce our total energy consumption and promote programs for residents and businesses.  Read on for a brief description of Village programs. For further details, email grow2green@hoffmanestates.org.

Don't forget that using water uses energy too! It takes a lot of energy to move, clean, and heat the water used on your property. Check out ways to conserve water (and energy) on our Water page.
