The Storm Sewer Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Village owned storm sewer infrastructure and storm drainage ways. The Village currently maintains (224) miles of storm sewer pipe ranging between (4) and (72) inches in diameter, over (60) miles of creek lines, (4,100) catch‐basins, (1,100) outlets, and (6,500) street inlets. Monthly inspections are performed on all Village drainage ways and lake/pond outfall pipes to reduce the risk of flooding during heavy rain events.
