The Fleet Services Division provides routine and emergency maintenance and repair for over two hundred forty (240) Village vehicles and equipment. Preventative maintenance is the key to lowering downtime, road calls, and non‐scheduled repairs.

Fleet Services mechanics are all ASE certified with some having Master Automotive Technician and Master Truck Technician certifications. The ASE Blue Seal Award tests and certifies automotive professionals in all major technical areas of repair and service, and Fleet Services mechanics have attained the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence every year since 2000.

Fleet Services is a member of The Municipal Fleet Managers Association. The association meets monthly to discuss current trends in government fleets and offers training from manufacturers, dealers, and suppliers at a reduced cost.

Selected 2023 Accomplishments

• Received the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Blue Seal Award.   
• Prepared vehicles and equipment for public auction.
• Completed installation of vehicle exhaust extraction system.
• Continued to maintain supply of parts for repair through the growing supply chain shortages.
• Completed over 7,600 vehicle and equipment repairs in 2023.
