To help make the Village of Hoffman Estates a safer place, the Hoffman Estates Police Department now offers several ways to notify us anonymously about illegal activity:

1) Call 9-1-1. You can still remain anonymous when calling 9-1-1!

2) Submit an anonymous police tip online here.

3) Place a tip via call or text at: 224-254-0049.

4) Email PoliceTips@hoffmanestates.org.

The Police Tip Line should be used to notify the police of illegal activity in our community, such as:

• Community Vandalism
• Drug Activity
• Fugitive
• Suspicious Incident

Please have the following information ready to report:

• Location
• When this activity occurred
• Victim details
• Suspect Information
• Vehicle Information
• Contact Information (if desired)

Always remember...reporting false or malicious information to the police is a crime.
