Tours of your local fire station are available upon request.  Station tours last approximately 30 minutes and include viewing the fire apparatus and emergency equipment, as well as talking to the firefighters about their job.  Tours can let residents see the stations that their firefighters live in throughout their 24 hour shift and can be designed as an interactive and educational experience.

Tours of any of the four fire stations can be arranged by contacting the fire department at firedept@hoffmanestates.org or 847-843-4825.   Please schedule the tour at least 14 days in advance.

Fire stations remain in-service during tours. Fire companies may need to respond to emergencies at any time. If they do, it will be necessary for the tour to end and your group to exit the station.
