The Fire Department has partnered with the Illinois State Fire Marshall (ISFM) to take one more step to protect the lives of Hoffman Estates residents with a smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarm give-away program for needy families. The ISFM provides a limited number of these alarms to requesting fire departments. To request a free smoke alarm, please call the Fire Department at 847-843-4825, or stop by any of the four Hoffman Estates fire stations.
