Healthcare Provider (BLS) Classes Offered by Appointment
Healthcare Provider is required CPR certification for doctors, nurses or paramedics. Certification is good for two years through the American Heart Association (AHA).

All courses are taught by American Heart Association (AHA) trained and certified instructors. The instructors facilitate the classes using professionally produced instructional DVDs provided by the AHA, AHA course-specific instructional printed materials, hands-on instruction and certification upon completion of courses.

All classes are held in the lower level of Fire Station 24, located at 5775 Beacon Pointe Drive, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192.

Registration Policy
Please call 847-843-4825 to register for any of the above classes. Fees must be prepaid at least six days prior to the first day of class. Fees cover the cost of the class, materials and text. There is a maximum of eight students per class. If there are less than five students registered, the class may be cancelled. If the class is canceled by the Fire Department, there will be a full refund offered or a chance to reschedule your class to another offered date without penalty.

Refund Policy
If registered and you cannot or do not attend:

• Full refund if canceled at least one week in advance.
• 50 percent refund if canceled less than three days in advance.
• You may sign up for a future class within two weeks of the original class date using your previous payment and not be docked if you attend the rescheduled class. Any action taken after the two-week period will automatically account for a 50 percent refund of your registration fee.
• If you do not attend a rescheduled class and do not give proper notice as stated above, you will forfeit the entire registration fee.
