Know a property owner who deserves to be recognized for their beautiful landscaping or commitment to "green" practices? The Sustainability Commission is once again sponsoring the Village's Community Pride Recognition Awards. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, July 28. Awards will be given in the following categories:

• Detached single-family home
• Attached single-family home
• Neighborhood or homeowners association

Special recognition will be given for properties that incorporate sustainable landscaping practices, including the use of rain barrels, composting, or non-toxic pest/weed control.
