The Platzkonzert and Arts Commissions are proud to be hosting the annual Platzkonzert Germanfest presented by Audi of Hoffman Estates, a German-themed, open air celebration complete with authentic German food, beer, entertainment, and activities. For the first time in the event’s history, it has expanded to two days at the Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green located at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway off Route 72 in the Prairie Stone Business Park, just west of the Sears Centre Arena.

On Saturday, September 13, arrive early and enjoy a full day of German food as well as entertainment from the Internationals, the Tenors Three, the Johnny Wagner Band, Walter Flechsig, and the Hott Production Dancers.

Make it a family affair and bring the children as there will be inflatables, games, and a climbing wall. If you are feeling competitive, participate in the traditional wiener speed-eating, stein-carrying, and “Mr. Lederhosen” best legs contests to be eligible for prizes donated by Hoffman Estates area businesses.
