Schaumburg Township Clerk Timothy M. Heneghan and the Township Board of Trustees are sponsoring the third annual Community Wellness Day at Schaumburg Township, 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates. The event is free and open to the public to showcase services that are available in the community.

This event is free to the public to promote individual health and safety while providing information from over 30 community agencies and free health screenings. Other services include free massages, nutrition assessment, health presentations, sharps disposal, food samples and raffle prizes. Flu vaccinations will be offered at $20 (cash or check), or free with proof of Medicare Part B.

Life Source will hold a blood a drive from noon to 6 p.m. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment to donate blood, call 877-543-3768, or visit www.lifesource.org, and use the code SH11.
