To celebrate French history and culture, the Village's Sister Cities and Celebrations commissions, along with the Schaumburg Township District Library, are sponsoring a storyteller event featuring interpreter and naturalist Andy Talley. This free event will take place on Saturday, June 1, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road. Mr. Talley will present an entertaining and educational look at the French fur traders and the native tribes they lived and worked with in the 18th century. Light refreshments will be served.
