Garbage collection delayed For residents who have garbage, recycling and yard waste collection on Monday, there will be no change -- it will occur on the regularly scheduled day of Monday, July 2. However, Wednesday collection will be delayed one day in observance of Independence Day -- it will be picked up on Thursday, July 5. Residents are reminded that garbage bags, garbage and recycling toters, and yard waste bags are all prohibited from being set out prior to 6 p.m. the evening prior to your collection day.
