Electricity Aggregation Referendum Passes
On Tuesday, March 20, voters approved a referendum for the Village of Hoffman Estates to seek lower electricity supply rates for its residents and small businesses through an opt-out electricity aggregation program.

The next step in the process is to develop and adopt a plan of operation and governance for the electricity aggregation program. The Village is seeking public input through two public hearings. The public hearings will be held at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, April 16, and 6:45 p.m. on Monday, April 23, in the Village Hall Council Chambers, 1900 Hassell Road.
