Hispanic Heritage Fiesta
The Cultural Awareness Commission is proud to celebrate the community's diverse culture by sponsoring a Hispanic Heritage Fiesta. Enjoy an afternoon of the sights, sounds and tastes of Hispanic culture. Activities include food and light refreshments, Latin dance representing several countries, and, of course, the ever-popular piñata. Featured guest speakers are Elba Aranda-Suh, Executive Director of the National Latino Education Institute, and Nancy McDonald, Information Specialist with the Rita and John Canning Women's Program at Harper College.
