Schaumburg Township Disability Services is hosting a two-day Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training/Certification event on June 11 and June 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (12 hours of training required) in the Schaumburg Township Building Board Room. The training provides skills and instruction on how to address situations with individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis or issue. Linden Oaks at Edward is providing community trainings throughout the Chicagoland area. The fee is $25/person, and anyone is welcome to register. Payment is cash or check (check made payable to Linden Oaks). Anyone interested needs to register with Schaumburg Township Disability Services as seating is limited.
