Schaumburg Township Clerk Timothy M. Heneghan is sponsoring the first annual Community Wellness Day on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Community Wellness Day will be held at Schaumburg Township Hall, 1 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates, IL 60169.
This event is free to the public, and is designed to promote individual health and safety while providing residents with information, health screenings and community resources. It will feature various community agencies and physicians offering a variety of free health screenings. A heart and stroke screening and flu shot will be offered at a low cost. Demonstrations from exercise classes to CPR will be offered, as well as a certified child seat technician to install and inspect your child's safety seat. This event will include over 18 different vendors, food and raffles.
