LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center, and St. Hubert Catholic Church will host a Memorial Blood Drive for Gayle Photikarm from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon St., Hoffman Estates.

Photikarm, a teacher at St. Hubert's, received multiple transfusions during her battle with a brain tumor. Her family and friends remember her as a loving wife, devoted mother to her two sons and an understanding teacher. It is in Photikarm's memory that her family and friends ask you to join them in saving lives by donating blood.

It's easy to donate. The donation process takes about an hour and is both safe and comfortable. LifeSource blood donors receive a free mini-wellness check and cholesterol screening. Each donation can save up to three lives right here in our community.
