The Village of Hoffman Estates will be accepting household items for recycling on Saturday, Aug. 20, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Items to be recycled will include:

Electronics
Document destruction
Sharps/drugs
Fluorescent light bulbs
Batteries
Latex paint (small charge)

The event will take place at the Susan H. Kenley-Rupnow Public Works Center located at 2305 Pembroke Ave. This program is available to Hoffman Estates residents only, and proof of residency is required.
