On Wednesday, March 31, State Senator Matt Murphy will host a taxpayer appeal seminar along with Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Brendan Houlihan and Palatine Township Assessor Terry Kelly.

This seminar is for Palatine Township residents only.

If you feel that your property has been over assessed, Sen. Murphy strongly encourages you to attend the seminar. The staff of the Board of Review will give an overview of the forms that you need to file in order to see a possible reduction in your property assessment.

The seminar will begin at 7:30 p.m., and will be held at the Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Wood St. If you plan on attending, please bring your property tax bill so the assessor's office may help answer your questions.
