On Friday, Nov. 6, the Hoffman Estates Park District Foundation will hold its annual Texas Hold 'Em Charity Poker Tournament at 6 p.m. at Poplar Creek Country Club, 1400 Poplar Creek Drive. This exciting fundraising event gives residents and non-residents a chance to gamble for a good cause for the chance to win prizes valued up to $5,000. There is a $100 entry fee per player and a 120 player limit. Check-in is at 6 p.m., and the tournament begins at 6:30 p.m. $10 discount for pre-registration prior to noon on Nov. 6.
