The Sister Cities Commission is pleased to present a program on French Impressionism in conjunction with the Art Institute of Chicago. Dr. Margaret Farr, Ph.D., a lecturer in the Department of Museum Education at the Art Institute, will present a program on French Impressionism and the French artists who painted modern life during the 1870s and 1880s. There is no charge for the program, but a monetary or food donation for local food pantries would be appreciated. Light refreshments will be served, and adults 21 and over will be able to sample the French aperitif, Pineau des Charentes. In addition to presenting this interesting and informative program, the Art Institute is also generously donating two tickets per attendee so that you may enjoy a day at the museum in the future.
