On Saturday, Sept. 26, from noon to 3 p.m. at Vogelei Park, the Hoffman Estates Park District will hold its 2nd Annual Scarecrow Festival. There will be three categories of judging: Family/Individual, Business, and Community Organization. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and presentation. The top three displays in each category will receive awards, and each entry will receive a certificate of participation. What better way to get involved with your community than to show your creativity and be part of this exciting annual event!
