To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Village, the Historical Sites Commission is sponsoring two free bus tours of our community. The first tour will start Sunday, Sept. 20, at 12:30 p.m. at the Village Hall; the second will start at 3 p.m. Both will end with refreshments provided by the Celebrations Commission at the historic Sunderlage Farmhouse. The bus will return to the Village Hall after the tours. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling 847-781-2606 before Sept. 14.
