Join the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) and the Hoffman Estates Sustainability Commission for a free presentation on solar energy and its benefits on Saturday, April 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Rd. During the Solar Power Hour, a CUB expert will explain solar programs and incentives, why clean energy is more affordable and reliable, and how policies like the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act impact consumers. A Hoffman Estates Building Official will also be available to answer questions about the permitting and inspection process for solar panel installation in the Village.
