Please join the Village Staff and the third grade students from Whiteley School, at the annual Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony! The celebration is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, at Arbor Day Park, located at the corner of Downing Drive and Sumac Trail.

Students will arrive at 10:00 at which time the ceremony is expected begin. Staff will introduce elected officials, a brief history of Arbor Day and a reading of the Arbor Day proclamation will follow the introductions. 

Upon completion of the reading of the proclamation, the ceremonial tree planting will take place with Village staff and officials assisting students with the plantings.
