The 2017 Platzkonzert Germanfest - A German Fest for All!

The Village's annual celebration of all things German: Food, Music, & Beer! This is a family-friendly event with FREE ADMISSION! The event starts on Friday night and continues all day Saturday! The Kinderplatz Children's Area will be open on Saturday from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM  (free climbing tower, games and bounce houses!)

Saturday features a full day of fun music and hilarious contests!!! Come and enter free drawings too! Prosit!

Saturday Schedule:

10:00 a.m.                       Platzkonzert Germanfest Opens

10:30- 10:45 a.m.           Mayor's Welcome, with Village Trustees

10:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.     Kinderplatz: FREE Children's Play Area (Climbing Tower, bounce houses)                 

10:45 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.   The Internationals Band

12:00- 5:00 p.m.             Library and Heritage Farm exhibits

1:00- 3:00 p.m.               The Johnny Wagner Band

3:00- 3:30 p.m.               Best Legs Contest: Enter to be crowned "Mr. Lederhosen"!

3:30 - 5:00 p.m.              HOTT Productions Dancers: traditional Continental dance performance!

5:00- 5:30 p.m.               Hot Dog Eating Contest: Enter to win prizes!

5:30- 6:30 p.m.               Stein Carrying Contest: Enter to win an etched Platzkonzert Mug!

6:30- 10:00 p.m.             The Mike Schneider Band

10:00 p.m.                       Platzkonzert 2017 Closes... Auf Wiedersehen!
