On Wednesday, Oct. 12, the Cook
County Recorder of Deeds will present
an estate planning seminar at 11 a.m.
at the Village Hall. This free event will
discuss the differences between wills and
trusts, and explain how Cook County
residents can avoid probate without
the use of either of these tools. It also
explains the relatively new transfer on
death instrument, as well as various
other tools that apply to vehicles and
checking/savings accounts. To register
