To prepare our public open spaces for the fall and winter weather, the Hoffman Estates Sustainability and Stormwater Commissions are sponsoring a Hoffman Estates Village Improvement Day on Saturday, October 1, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Village has identified various open spaces and creek lines for cleanup activities. Commission members will be on hand to coordinate the work and assist volunteers. Work will be limited to litter collection, and the Village will be supplying trash bags and gloves. Wear your water resistant/water-proof shoes. 

This year's event will begin at the Public Works Center, 2305 Pembroke Ave., at 10 a.m.

The Village welcomes individuals, families and groups to join in the Village Improvement Day effort.
