The fourth annual Shootz & Ladderz Softball Fundraiser: HEPD vs. HEFD, sponsored by the Hoffman Estates Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (HECPAAA), will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24, at noon. Come out and watch your local police officers battle firefighters on the diamond for bragging rights at Cannon Crossings, 1675 Nicholson Drive.
