On the morning of Saturday, June 4, Geoff will paint a mural with children ages eight to 13 at the Hoffman Estates Branch Library honoring the Village’s 20th anniversary with our sister city, Angoulême. All children will receive a T-shirt to wear for painting.

A local cartoonist, Geoff Bevington, recently traveled to Angoulême, France, to participate in the 43rd Festival International de la Bande Dessinée (an international comic festival). This event draws over 100,000 visitors, and includes seminars and exhibits for cartoonists and their fans. Geoff’s agenda during his trip was focused on literacy through cartooning.
