The month of May is both Mental Health Awareness Month and Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month. Good mental health impacts almost every aspect of our lives, including physical wellbeing, productivity and our ability to manage difficult emotions and situations. Join us for "South Asian Cultural and Health Issues," a workshop designed to learn more about different South Asian groups, and their experiences related to parenting, family, intergenerational challenges, preserving their cultural identity and promoting good mental health. This workshop will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Village Hall. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today by calling Supriya Poonati at 847-781-4862.
