The Village of Hoffman Estates is an Entitlement Grantee in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.  For the past eight years, the Village has used CDBG funds to improve the neighborhoods of and housing opportunities for predominantly low and moderate income residents. 

Each year the Village submits a summary of its performance to HUD through its Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER).  On December 2, at 4:30, the Village will hold a public hearing to accept comments on the CAPER for the program year spanning October 2013 through September 2014. 

The Village is also concluding its five-year Consolidated Plan 2011-2015 one year early and is beginning planning on the new Consolidated Plan 2015-2019.  This public hearing will be an opportunity to accept comments on the end of the Consolidated Plan 2011-2015.
