Julia Child: "My Life in France"

Sponsored by Sister Cities Commission

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!

In celebration of National French Week, the Sister Cities Commission is pleased to bring you the story of Julia Child, "My Life In France," presented by storyteller Lynn Rymarz. This special event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Stonegate Conference and Banquet Centre, 2401 W. Higgins Road. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon featuring baked French onion soup, crêpes, croissants, baked crème brûlée, coffee and tea. American Julia Child became enamored with all things French, and went on to host "The French Chef" TV program. But Child's story isn't just about French cooking – there are many surprising twists and turns to her life that will surprise you. Lynn Rymarz, a Schaumburg resident, has entertained audiences with her portrayals of historical women since 2005. This is a program you will not want to miss! Tickets are $25 per person, but seating is limited. Reservations must be received by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28. To RSVP, call Sue Lessen at 847-781-2606. The Sister Cities Commission looks forward to wishing you "bon appétit" in November!
